About Us
Kamdeboo Cattery located in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, South Africa is owned by Leonard and Susan Ferreira. Breeder home to Burmese, Devon Rex and British Shorthair.
We have been breeding with Burmese since 2014, the stunning Devon Rex breed came into home in 2017 and have been breeding with Devon Rex since then. We do breed with British Shorthair but
only have one litter a year.
We are a registered breeding cattery with both registering bodies in South Africa namely The South Africa Cat Council ( SACC) and The Cat Association of Southern Africa ( CASA ). We are also members of The Western Province Cat Club.
Our Adoption Process
Our kittens are available for R12 000.00 each.
1. Online Application
Complete and submit our online questionnaire to help us learn more about you and the home you can offer.
2. Application Review
We will review your application and contact you if we are able to assist with a suitable kitten.
3. Meet & Greet
Where possible, we will arrange an in-person meeting so we can get to know each other.
4. Final Payment
Full payment is required before your kitten is collected or leaves our care.
5. Going Home
Kittens leave our home between 12 and 16 weeks of age, once they are ready for their new family.
What’s Included with Your Kitten
Vaccinations — Your kitten receives their first and second vaccinations before leaving our care.
Deworming — Age-appropriate deworming is completed as part of your kitten’s health care.
Veterinary Check — Every kitten receives a veterinary health examination before going to their new home.
Pedigree Certificate — Your kitten’s official pedigree certificate is provided once the entire litter has been named, registered, and the registration process is complete.
No Upfront Deposit — No upfront deposit is required unless otherwise arranged and agreed upon.
Sterilisation — Sterilisation is included unless alternative arrangements have been made. Conditions apply.
Welcome Home Pack — Your kitten goes home with a special Kitty Welcome Pack and helpful information to make settling in easier.
